My Story

I know what it feels like to be burnt out, sick, tired, lonely, and utterly lost in a maze of multiple diagnoses. I spent years in the wrong job, the wrong relationship, on the wrong life path entirely. I pushed through, believing I was doing the right things for myself, dismissing the whispers, until life started to scream at me – forcing me to finally sit up and take notice.
Perhaps those whispers or screams are happening in your life right now. That persistent unease, the anxiety that won’t quit, the feeling that something fundamental is off – these aren’t accidental. They are profound calls for your attention. As A.H. Almaas said:
“Your conflicts, all the difficult things, the problematic situations in your life are not chance or haphazard. They are actually yours. They are specifically yours, designed specifically for you by a part of you that loves you more than anything else. The part of you that loves you more than anything else has created roadblocks to lead you to yourself. You are not going in the right direction unless there is something pricking you in the side, telling you, “Look here! This way!” That part of you loves you so much that it doesn’t want you to lose the chance. It will go to extreme measures to wake you up, it will make you suffer greatly if you don’t listen. What else can it do? That is its purpose.”
This truth now resonates deeply with my own decades-long search for healing. It wasn’t until I truly listened, leaning into Gabor Maté’s Compassionate Inquiry and the power of somatic psychotherapy, that I experienced my true transformation. I turned my life around, healed my PTSD, saw my physical symptoms dramatically reduce, and witnessed profound, lasting changes in my inner and outer world in less than a year.

My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in the holistic and trauma-informed work of leading professionals like Gabor Maté, Peter Levine, and Bessel van der Kolk. I believe that many of our emotional and mental patterns – our defenses, our reactions, our addictions, and even our chronic aches and pains – are not just in our heads. They are held within our bodies and often have origins in our earliest experiences.
Through a journey of deeper self-understanding, radical self-compassion, and unconditional acceptance, I will guide you back to your authentic self. This is the strongest, most peaceful, and most resourceful part of you. We’ll achieve this through a powerful integration of psychotherapeutic and somatic methods, helping you to gently unlock and resolve what’s held within, leading to lasting healing and a more fulfilled life.
